The Best Lady Bug House John Pavon
Waters Testing reveals bad chemical compounds from overt use of pesticides. Organic is the solution. Two year research on reveals the "Convergent Ladybeetle" is the answer. Nesting box needs - The Best Lady Bug House taking in consideration of their basic needs: Location, Food, Shelter, Protection, and a nourishing Environment.

Kinetic Steam Works
Kinetic Steam Works, a Bay Area collective dedicated to steam powered kinetic art, came together in 2005 to explore and repurpose the artifacts of clockwork modernity. We are a small and growing group of industrial artists curious about what came before the advent of petroleum power, electronics, and the automobile culture.

Greathouse Labs
We have several new projects this year along with some of projects we brought last year. Steampunk Machine called (The Vessel) A large remote control interactive fire machine, It has three 5' movable metal looking arms that shoot fire under operator control. A very Jules Vern looking Machine. (under construction) The Dr Evil wheelchair, large custom wheelchair like the one use in the Austin Powers movie. (under construction) The Greathouse Labs Fire Truck, a three wheeled flame shooting vehicle.(completed) El Reactor a 35' fire shooting machine! (completed) And smaller projects too!!

Diet Coke and Mentos Fountains
See the original Internet sensation LIVE! Geysers of soda shoot over twenty feet into the air in this spectacular mint-powered version of the Bellagio Fountains, brought to you by the mad scientists of EepyBird. EepyBird has been featured on Late Night with David Letterman, Ellen, the Today Show, and Mythbusters, and they were named "Best of 2006" by People Magazine. Their online videos have won two Webby Awards and received two Emmy nominations.

Pnuema
A 12" tall active fire sculpture; Pnuema is a copper, brass, aluminum, steel, and stainless steel flower sculpture, resting on three large leaves. Flame effects include a rotating fiery stamen, a vortex effect, and hot blue flames running down each leaf spine.

Ethel The Robot...
Ethel is a large 200 lb+ 4WD robot. Ethel is built to demonstrate that it is possible to build simple robotic machine using off-the-shelf components. Ethel has a 1Ghz computer for her vision a basic stamp to control various functions and sensors. Ethel has a 250 watt stereo, wifi, 75 mhz radio control, wireless 2.4 ghz keyboard and mouse and a wireless joystick. Ethel also uses telepresence with wireless cameras and microphones. Ethel also can provide a light show using a propane poofer system.

Soma
A fantastical sculpture that translates the anatomy of neurons into metal, fire and light; magnifying the microscopic world to an epic scale. For Maker Faire, we have a partial installation of Soma's central elements: the cell nucleus. This is a counter spinning rotating ball of fire; 6' tall; enclosed within a stainless steel dodecahedron.

NIMBY
We are showcasing a selection of NIMBY art, fire art, and metal sculpture housed in and around a 20' shipping container - the basic building block of our 64,000 square foot space. Attendees can create welded candle holders with scrap metal and wallets from recycled grocery bags. NIMBY artists are present to explain their work and how to become a part of NIMBY.

MayBlue Bus
Our project is a 40ft school bus that has been transformed into a mobile home. Many fixtures of the bus allow it to be self sustaining including: the compostable toilet, solar panels, push pedal sewing machine, and biodiesel running engine. We engineered each of the elements of the conversion to create more independence in our lives.

LUNAR Rocket Club
Build and fly a real model rocket with the LUNAR Rocket Club! Visit our booth and see small, medium, and large model rockets. Talk with expert rocketeers about how easy and fun model rocketry is. Find out how model rocketry gives you a wonderful, rich experience in broad areas for everyone from ages 4 to 104. The sky is the limit!

Hackerbot Labs' Incredible Quarter Shrinker
A huge capacitor discharges 15,000 joules into a small coil, making quarters shrink to the size of dimes.

How To Make Compressed Air Rockets
Blow your friends away as you send this 25-cent rocket hundreds of feet in the air. You can build this easy launcher and rocket with common items in an afternoon. As seen in MAKE, Volume 15!

Potato Gatling Gun
This is an autofiring multi-barrel version of the popular PVC potato cannon from the book "Backyard Ballistics". It is capable of launching 6 potatoes approximately 400ft.
