The Mad Hatter eSofa

The eSofa is a self propelled electric sofa. It is inspired by Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter.


The Odd Cycle

Exhibit

A pedal powered contraption with one 9 foot wheel, and side steering with two smaller wheels. Loosely based on the Rudge Rotary tricycle from 1887, but blown up three times in scale.


the Two Penny

A pedal powered contraption built to look like 2 penny farthing bikes connected side by side, but with the scale blown up so that the front wheels are 8feet tall.nThe rider sits up high at about 12 feet.


The Un-named Amphibious

A pedal powered contraption made with bike parts, an aluminum boat, and hand made wheels, as well as recycled parts of other things, including a metal lathe.


Thenagain Bomber

The Thenagain Bomber is a 4 person pedal car that was made both for the Handcar Regatta in Santa Rosa, CA and for fun outings to the local pub!


Tiny Tin Tool Boxes

Make your own Tiny Tin Tool Boxes using galvanized sheet metal. NIMBY volunteers will help you use a spot welder, bench grinder, finger break, notcher and tin snips. Take your Tiny Tin Tool Box home at the end of the process.

This is a concept walking hybrid vehicle that uses Theo Jensen style leg linkages. It's intended purpose is to provide a safe living and working space that can cross rough terrain in extreme environments.
