Flowu202226 is a life-size version of the mobile app Flow Free. Instead of connecting circles using your finger, people will be walking on tiles that will light up. The game board is an interactive platform that reacts to steps.


Fred the Dalek

Fred is a Dalek from the planet Skaro. Daleks are the arch-enemies of Doctor Who, the classic BBC science fiction series celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Fred is home-built in 2011 using plans from projectdalek.com

High school students from our pilot group of 15 Makerspace schools will be exhibiting their final projects. Projects may include converted go-karts, knitted skirts, bicycle-wheel basketball hoops, and stained glass!

Plywooden Boat

Exhibit

A DIY wooden vessel for exploring the San Francisco bay. This boat is made of a single sheet of 4mm plywood and sealed with epoxy resin and fiberglass. The boat has GPS and a homemade depth-finder for mapping the bay floor.


Posables Interactive Sculpture Garden

Exhibit

"Posables Pavilion" is a hands-on sculpture garden featuring many colorful Posables figures. Guests are invited to create their own displays using these life-size stick-figure mannequins.
