Beyond the Water Curtain

Beyond the Water Curtain uses OpenFrameworks & Kinect with projector to create a social immersive interactive narrative of the classic Chinese story, Monkey. Participants are puppet characters and collaborate in the journey.

You know those little mazes that you hold in your hand and you tilt them to try and get the balls into the center? Well, this is a 4 foot diameter, Arduino powered, remote/Android/body/mind controlled one of those.

Brewing Beer Basics

Presenter

We will begin by discussing the basic ingredients of beer. We will then describe the basic steps involved in beer brewing and will also go through a beginners brewing session. Next we will cover various beer styles, brewing methods and equipment and finally answer questions relating to making your own beer at home.

ModiBot is a 3d printed, figure-based build system of interchangeable ball & socket connectors. Users choose from over 400 parts to create their own imaginative creatures, robots, heroes and play scenes.

BVHM Duct Tape Creations

Duct Tape CreationsrnCome and try your hand at making useful items out of duct tape and a few common objects. Sixth graders from Buena Vista Horace Mann (K-8 school from the Mission District) will be instructing in both English and Spanish.
