Words Sounds and Power!
Our band is Seven Seals and the Wingess Angels, a positive 5-piece band from international origin with the same passion: reggae music. Our music is very entertaining and aims to touch all people of any age.
We've played at several festivals and are working on an album release project for the end 2008.

Angeliska + Arpadelamar
I play ocean-harp (also known as sea-harp, or waterphone). This mysterious instrument is a peculiar combination of whale and tea-pot. It looks like it was invented by mermaids - in fact, it was invented to serenade cetaceans. It has been used in many wonderful horror movie soundtracks.
Austin Community Steelband
Austin Community Steelband is a Kids' Steelpan Trio.
Automusik
Automusik, Austin's self-proclaimed "greatest band in the world," offers a sensory-overload blend of pulse-pounding electronic pop, synchronized computer visuals, and robot voguing. You will never be the same after Automusik unleashes their deadpan vision designed to simultaneously break your spirit and transform you with their uniquely Teutonic brand of robotic rock.

BLUESQUEEZEBOX
"BLUESQUEEZEBOX... plays an eclectic mix of material from some of the greatest songwriters in history... You may recognize some or all of the songs you hear them play... gritty, world-weary vocals, Texas-style guitar heroics and slinky seven-string bass, all taken to the next level of madness by the driving undercurrent of their namesake instrument."
Datri Bean
Southern-fried vintage jazz.
"Datri Bean creates a sound that makes me imagine a sunny, country afternoon sipping mint juleps on an old screened porch, the air moving ever so slightly under the ceiling fan. It's a nice place to be." - Vigilance Magazine
Delphi Rising
Delphi Rising is a musical project, playing an eclectic mix of original compositions based on rock, alternative, blues, and african influences. This is plugged in sound; not your typical cocktail music.
El Tule
For three years El Tule has been honing its unique sound combining influences of Cumbia, Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Rock, Salsa and Reggae. The music is influenced by art, history and culture often focusing on legends and tales of the mystical. El Tule is for those who love to dance, feel good and enjoy the positive expression of music.
Entranced:Immersive Musical Entertainment

By watching, listening and feeling, the player uses popular game controllers to tune in to the music to create a immersive multi-sensory feedback loop.
Esmerelda Strange
Esmerelda Strange is a one woman band who plays accordion, drums and sings all at the same time. She uses standard drum kit parts in non-standard ways and slightly modified some parts to suit her multi-tasking musical needs.
She has been the band for the Lifesize Game of Mousetrap since 2003. She also has a solo show, and has toured as the opening band for the Cyclecide Bike Rodeo.
In her spare time she likes to rub her tummy, pat her head, and chew gum.

The children's music is very diverse with a colorful variety of influences - a sound that anyone is sure to love.
Iris Saves the Land of Black and White
A song for every color in the rainbow. A king who has banned all color from his land because he had a horrible coloring accident as a child. Iris, goddess of the rainbow, has to save the day. Only she and "the kids" can convince the king that colors are wonderful.
Laser Harp
The laser harp is a 33-note homemade instrument. It uses a simple microcontroller circuit to monitor the signals from ordinary pen lasers and generate MIDI signals.
Loud Objects
The Loud Objects (Tristan Perich, Kunal Gupta, Katie Shima), a performance trio from New York, work with low-level electronics. Their performances start with punctuated silence as they begin to solder together microprocessors on an overhead projector, exploding into noise when the initial circuit is assembled and new chips are added and rewired. Their entire toolset consists of soldering irons, power and audio jacks, and a handful of Atmel microprocessors, pre-programmed in C via USB from a laptop using tuxgraphics' AVR programmer.
The Loud Objects also produce noise toys and kits and are collaborating with Bleep Labs on a new interactive toy/kit available soon. These instruments are reprogrammable and sample code and support is made available.
Featured at Maker Faire 2007 in San Mateo, the Loud Objects have toured the world, performing in festivals such as Piksel in Norway, Italy's Screen Music 2, England's Evolution, and NIME, Blip and Bent in the USA.

Portable Chipamp Stereo!
Tube amp, shmoob amp! This awesome amplifier delivers 4 x 68 watts of absolutely incredible sound using the LM3886 IC amplifier setup from Chipamp.com. But this is no wimpy home stereo...This amp is built in a steel enclosure box that can be taken outside and left in the rain! It's got filtered-air fan cooling and it uses house outlets for speaker connections and extension cords for speaker wire. Four JBL speakers hang from fold-up speaker stands (of my own design), to let folks hear the beauty of the chipamp and show them that they can make it too.
I also have my harmon-kardon reciever that has the same chipamps in place of the junky factory amps. Now it's worth 450 bucks!
Robotic Drum Set
HyperLumaMidiMagnaTronic Drum Set - A robotic drum set comes to life with surprising power, speed and light, providing a driving rhythm for the ArcAttack! singing Tesla Coils.
A PIC microcontroller decodes a MIDI stream and produces Pulse-Width-Modulated signals based on the velocity messages. Pulse-width-modulation provides precise velocity control driving Electro-magnetic rotary actuators with high power MOSFET transistors. The rotary actuators simplify the mechanics, improve reliability and reduce unwanted noise. LED arrays provide colorful, synchronized lighting effects.
Southern Drama
An eclectic blend of sultry and sour vocals, erratic and experimental violin, haunting and rhythmic piano, carnival-esque bass lines that thunder like a stomping circus elephant, and ramshackle guitar and percussion sounds.
Supersonic Uke
Rock and Roll Ukulele
THAT Damned Trio
A roving acoustic trio of musicians playing the songs of hobos, pirates, and circus folk from around the world. THAT Damned Band sounds like a circus trainwrecked into a hobo camp where Eastern European klezmers are learning Irish drinking songs from Tom Waits.

THIS GRASS IS THRASH!!! The Electric Mountain Rotten Apple Gang is a Texas Bred, Hardrivin', Knockdown, Thrash Grass combo inspired into existence by the traditional sounds of Bluegrass and Mountain String Bands of the past and present. "The Gang" is a high energy stage act that owns up the the claim "we are half horse, half alligator and 100% Texas tornado" and a ripstavin' good time for young and old alike, with just enough tradition to keep granny happy and enough raucous, riotous, revelry for the young'ns to chew on.

Bill Byrne wrote the article "Wii Will Rock You" for Make Issue #14.

Thereping
The “Thereping” is a digital musical instrument that plays sounds based on a combination of the position of your hand and some pushbutton switches.
It uses a combination of a sonar sensor and a microcontroller to allow the user to play interesting melodies without requiring any musical skills.
When joined together with a “Thereclock” sync unit, multiple Therepings can all play together and create interesting music, again without requiring any musical expertise on the part of the players.
