The aim is to inspire people of all ages to roll up their sleeves and become makers. We encourage you to join the fun and enter a project to exhibit. Entries
The first step to participating in Maker Faire is to submit an entry that tells us about your project. Please provide a short description of what you make and what you will actually bring to Maker Faire - this will appear on the web to promote your participation in Maker Faire. Please link to photographs or videos of what you make. We particularly encourage exhibits that are interactive and that demonstrate the process of making things.
Physical Exhibit: Our standard setup for a Maker exhibit is roughly a 10x10 space, one banquet table and two chairs. Use this space to display your work and/or demonstrate how you make something. You should plan on bringing a table and a few chairs, if required.
If you plan on doing an activity, which requires more space and additional resources, please let us know on the entry form.
All proposals will be reviewed and we will notify makers of acceptance via email by September 18th 2008. We will be sending you a link to the Maker's Manual and ask you to confirm your participation.
